What is an eSIM?

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan without needing a physical SIM card.

Benefits of eSIM:

  • Instant activation - no waiting for delivery
  • No need to swap physical SIM cards when traveling
  • Use multiple eSIMs on one device
  • More secure than physical SIMs
Is my device compatible with eSIM?

Compatible Devices:

  • iPhone XS, XS Max, XR and newer
  • iPhone SE (2nd generation) and newer
  • iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 Series

Important Notes:

  • iPhones purchased in mainland China do not support eSIM
  • Your device must be carrier-unlocked
How do I purchase an eSIM?

Via iOS App:

  1. Download BeavereSIM from the App Store
  2. Browse plans and select one for your destination
  3. Complete payment with credit/debit card
  4. Scan the QR code to activate

Via Website:

  1. Visit beaveresim.com
  2. Click "Explore Plans"
  3. Complete payment via Stripe
  4. Receive QR code via email

⚙️ Activation & Setup

How do I activate my eSIM?

iPhone Activation Steps:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Cellular or Mobile Data
  3. Tap Add eSIM or Add Cellular Plan
  4. Select Use QR Code
  5. Scan the QR code from your purchase
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts

Tip: You need a Wi-Fi connection to activate your eSIM.

How long until I can use my eSIM after activation?

Your eSIM should be ready within 1-2 minutes after activation. If it takes longer than 5 minutes:

  • Restart your device
  • Make sure "Data Roaming" is enabled
  • Confirm the eSIM is selected as your data line
  • Try selecting a network manually
Can I use one eSIM on multiple devices?

No. Each eSIM can only be installed on one device. Once activated, it cannot be transferred to another device.

💰 Plans & Top-ups

When does my plan validity start?

Validity starts from the activation date, not the purchase date.

Example:

  • Purchase: January 1st
  • Activation: January 5th
  • 7-day plan expires: January 12th

Note: Unactivated eSIMs must be activated within 30 days of purchase.

What happens when I run out of data?

You can easily top up at any time:

In the iOS App:

  1. Open BeavereSIM app
  2. Go to "My eSIM"
  3. Select the eSIM to top up
  4. Tap "Top Up" and choose a data package
What is your refund policy?

Before activation: Full refund available within 7 days

After activation: No refund (service has been delivered)

Technical issues: Pro-rated refund if service is unusable due to our fault

🔧 Troubleshooting

Why can't I connect to the network?

Try these steps:

  1. Enable Data Roaming: Settings > Cellular > Your eSIM > Enable "Data Roaming"
  2. Select Network Manually: Settings > Cellular > Network Selection > Select an available network
  3. Restart Device: Turn your phone off and on
  4. Reinstall eSIM: Delete and rescan your QR code

Why is my connection slow?

Possible reasons:

  • Network congestion: Peak hours or crowded areas
  • Weak signal: Try moving to a different location
  • Carrier limitations: Some areas may have speed restrictions

All our plans offer unlimited speed - actual speed depends on local network quality.

Can I use hotspot/tethering?

Yes! All BeavereSIM plans support hotspot sharing (tethering).

Note: Hotspot usage consumes data faster than regular usage.
